Learning and Growing at the SCE

Uncategorized No Comments November 5, 2015

Rainmaker President & Master Gardener Chris Miller recently rolled three of his passions into one volunteer project:  art, kids and gardening.  Chris is a frequent volunteer at his sons’ elementary school so, when the school considered a new garden program that would educate the students by hands-on gardening experience, he was very enthusiastic about offering his help.

Chris, a long-time gardener, named the project The SCE Grow Garden and designed a bright, cheerful logo that will transfer well to signage and logo treatments that will be used in the future to garner community support for the students as they build a garden where they can grow and harvest vegetables while learning about nature.  It should be a fascinating experience for everyone involved.

Anyone interested in helping with this foundling project should call or email Chris for school contact information.
